Hello there, my name is Kyle and this is my blog…on film.

Kinda self-explanatory isn’t it?

Well, I’ll tell you a little bit more about myself. Originally from the wilds of South Africa, I soon emigrated to lead a life of relative normality in the region of suburbia surrounding the great city of London. I’m now 20-something and an engineering graduate working at Odeon Cinemas.

I’ve harboured many interests over the years, from dinosaurs to hockey to painting, and while some have waned with time, films have always been there to enchant and thrill me. As entertainment and art, film has endless potential for discussion and its most ardent lovers will find it hard to shut up about it. I am one of those people. I could talk about films till the cows came home, and then I would discuss films with the cows. But in the absence of imminently arriving cattle, I am writing this blog. I have no film criticism credentials to speak of, and describing me as an amateur film critic is more than likely giving me way too much credit. I am simply a film fan who enjoys writing.

That’s me, and this is my blog. I post a variety of content on film whenever I have something worth writing about, hopefully that’s at least once a week but we’ll see how it goes – keep your hair on, Susan. Lastly I urge you to read, comment, agree, disagree, share, and most importantly, get out there and enjoy some films, dammit!

May the films be with you all. Thank you.

Kyle out.
